I wasn’t like every other kid, you know, who dreams about being an astronaut... I was always more interested in what bark was made out of on a tree

About me

For whatever reason, I got hooked on playing squash growing up. I liked that it was something different, that it was a way to travel and meet new people, that it gave me a shared passion with my dad.

In high school I learned about the international professional squash tour. Since then, my dream has been to someday join the tour and use it as a way to travel around the world.

On May 27th 2014 I took a break from the corporate world, packed two bags and took a one way flight to New Zealand to begin the experience of life as a full time professional squash player: now 115th in the world and in constant need of a couch to crash on.

Outside of squash, I like getting outdoors and working in or with small & fast growing companies.

My schedule is always shifting and a lot of this I'll be figuring out as I go, so if you have any advice/ideas for me, or people to meet/places to visit, I'd love to hear from you

Thanks for visiting my blog and I hope to hear from you soon.

Mike
